The first annual Designer Writers awards are established for authors who write and design their own books for the adult market.

The first annual Designer Writers conference is established in August, 2008, in Nova Scotia, for authors who wish to learn how to write and design their own books.

A community website, www.designerwriter.com, is launched for aspiring authors who wish to write and design their own books.

The world’s first “Writers on Designer Writing” column is published, in color, in The New York Times, for what has traditionally been called the “Writers on Writing” column.

2005-6
Goodbye Gutenberg is launched as a museum exhibit in a New York area art gallery. For the first time, on a large wall, visitors can soak in the entire work in its actual size in full color.

2005
The first edition, first printing of Goodbye Gutenberg has sold out and is in the hands of 4,700 wonderful and lucky people who have recognized its importance and appreciate its beauty.
